  1. I find it really frustrating when other women try to silence my opinion on something when it doesn't fit their own views on 'women's issues'. That is the exact opposite of feminism.

Kids are annoying enough at the best of times but that sounds like torture. Where are you? If in a pub or other place that has a bar at least there's some escape¬†ūüėā

The event was a family gathering so unfortunately unavoidable. But hey, I guess some parents think letting their children touch adults inappropriately and biting and kicking people to give them things is OK

    4. Dami

      Dami

That's what the naughty step culture does. People here just chat away while their child does what it wants. We have a community event to watch a  film in our hall and people just let their child run free saying 'have you controlled a 5 year old?'  Parents are too scared to discipline mixed with laziness.

In the 80's I went to the blood donor clinic in Harold Hill in Havering and was told that I was unable to donate blood because of the anti-epileptic medication that I was taking.

  11. People who have broken a toe....is it normal after a month to still hurt most of the time and be unable to move the broken toe or the ones either side voluntarily?

Broke both of my big tig toes in less than three weeks

the first one(right foot) was that my uncle was chasing me out of the living room and on the way out i hit the bottom of the doorframe and knocked my toe back with some force that my toebone was above my footbone so to speek, was rushed to hospital and they pulled it back out(OUCH),that hurt and took a year or so to be right

the second on(left foot) happened in the third week when we was having sunday lunch and my parents at the time had a very heavy mahogony table and bench seats,i was going to the toilet and as i was getting up remembering that i have a broken toe on my right foot i was struggling to get over the bench and pulled it over and the bench landed on my left toe crushing it

for a few weeks i was walking like a bloody penguin lol:rofl:

so not good, took ages to heel with them being such small bones, larger ones heel quicker.

    3. Lauren

      Lauren

It's my 4th toe so wasn't expecting it to hurt so much!

    4. jvenge

      jvenge

You really need to have an X-ray and make sure it is set correctly. It can take months for full mobility to return, even if just bruised. But pain is a concern after so long.

That's a common issue with broken toes. Once it is set correctly again, there isn't much they can do, but that initial set is important.

X-ray to make sure it is set properly and take it from there.

'Tis lovely to have a nice view out of your window(s), especially for weather watching. My front window doors face southwest, where most of our most active t-storms come from - it's bliss to watch the flashes way before you here any thunder. The downside is that the incoming rain absolutely batters on the glass and you have to shut them to keep the noise out and hail is even worse!

      Allseasons-si

I have a big south facing front room window that i can see for miles,i can even see flashes as far south as Nottingham and Stoke.:)

So sorry to read this Lauren, you must be devastated.  They certainly do break your heart. I lost my youngest in March, he was only about 2-years old.  Very special he was, a feral  I had spent months working with who turned into a lovely loving little furry man .  Miss him daily and can't believe he has gone.

it's not that easy lass. In fact in my experience the guy just got ' pats on the back' and no one ever said anything about the fact he was cheating. One line of conversation i over heard, which shouldn't have happened was greeted with a laugh rather than a scornful telling off. people just seemed to except it.

Take huge doses of Vitamin D3, preferably with Vitamin K2. I take drops and they really help during winter- you are probably very deficient at this time of year if you don't supplement. Look up Nutri Vitamin D3 and K2 drops- they do the job!
