  1. Nothing cold for at least 2 more weeks according to the Estonian Environment Agency.
  2. Nothing overly cold on the latest update from the beeb with the exception of the north over the weekend, otherwise 2022 is going out on a mild note for most https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/features/64082481
  3. Wednesday 28 Dec - Friday 6 Jan On Wednesday, unsettled conditions will continue bringing cloud to most parts with some areas of rain, heaviest over western hills and the potential for showers in the far northwest. East and southeastern areas will be drier, however some rain here is still probable. Windy conditions are likely, with gales affecting western and southern coasts. Towards the end of the week, unsettled weather will remain with spells or rain and showers, interspersed with shorter, drier interludes. At the end of the year, uncertainty is high, although the most probably scenario is changeable conditions, with rain, and some snow at times in the north, interspersed with colder, brighter spells. Temperatures will be variable, but overall, they will most likely to be close to or slightly below normal. Saturday 7 Jan - Saturday 21 Jan Confidence remains low into mid-January. There is a signal for generally settled conditions, although some periods of wet and windy weather are still possible and with this will come the chance of snow. Temperatures are likely to be around or a little below normal, with colder conditions perhaps developing again by mid-January. https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/forecast/uk
  4. 1.9c to the 22nd 2.7c below the 61 to 90 average 2.8c below the 81 to 10 average
  5. A cloudy and dry morning ahead of the rain later Temp 4.0c with a low overnight of 3.4c
  6. Quite likely that most parts of the UK will be as warm or warmer than Orlando on Christmas Day!
  7. Tuesday 27 Dec - Thursday 5 Jan On Tuesday, strong winds, cloud and outbreaks of rain and drizzle will spread eastwards across much of the UK. The heaviest rain will be in the west with drier conditions perhaps spreading to the north later. Temperatures are expected to become increasingly mild through the day. For the rest of the period, changeable weather conditions are likely across most parts of the UK. Showers or longer spells of rain are expected across many regions, with the heaviest rain in the west and some snow across Highlands of Scotland. These unsettled conditions will likely be interspersed by drier and brighter spells. Temperatures will be variable, but overall, they will most likely be close to or slightly below normal, with a lower chance of mild conditions. Friday 6 Jan - Friday 20 Jan Confidence remains low into mid-January.
  8. 1.7c to the 21st 2.9c below the 61 to 90 average 3.0c below the 81 to 10 average
  9. Continuing dry with cloudy skies and a light breeze Temp 6.2c
  10. Met office 10 day trend Next week Changeable Wet and windy spells Brief colder spells
  11. Monday 26 Dec - Wednesday 4 Jan Frequent wintry showers affecting northern areas on Monday, these becoming confined to the Northern Isles, where very windy too. Elsewhere, some sunshine, but an area of cloud and rain, with a small chance of snow on its northern edge may return from the south for a time. For the following few days, probably a fairly windy and changeable period of weather, with rain, and some snow at times, interspersed with colder, brighter spells. Around the turn of the year, uncertainties in the forecast increase, but a ridge of high pressure may bring a quieter interlude for many with more widely colder conditions, overnight frost and crisp, sunny days. Some wintry showers are also possible, especially in coastal areas. Thursday 5 Jan - Thursday 19 Jan Confidence remains low at the start of the year. There is a signal for generally settled conditions though periods of wet and windy weather are still possible, and within this will come the chance of some snow. Temperatures are likely to be around or a little below normal, with some generally colder conditions perhaps developing again around mid-January. https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/forecast/uk
  12. Going to be a shock to the system for parts of Florida later this week as they join the big freeze that's about to grip millions for Christmas
  13. 1.4c to the 20th 3.1c below the 61 to 90 average 3.3c below the 81 to 10 average

  15. BBC Weather for the Week Ahead Christmas Hill snow possible north Scotland Heavy rain could bring localised flooding to south England https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/features/64033692
  16. Sunday 25 Dec - Tuesday 3 Jan Confidence is unusually low for this whole period. The most probable scenario has cold conditions affecting northern areas and pushing south into milder air at times, however there is significant uncertainty in the location and movement of the boundary between the regimes. Any milder conditions are likely to be accompanied by wetter weather. Periods of rain are likely to run west-to-east across the country, bringing a threat of snow where they meet the colder air. Temperatures likely to be cold in the north and milder further south in general, however a downward trend is likely across all areas with average to below average temperatures for the country as a whole most likely for this period overall. Wednesday 4 Jan - Wednesday 18 Jan Confidence remains low at the start of the year. There is a signal for generally settled conditions, interspersed between periods of wet and windy weather, and a usual chance of snow. Temperatures are likely to be around normal, with some colder conditions perhaps developing again around mid January https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/forecast/uk
  17. 1.0c to the 19th 3.5c below the 61 to 90 average 3.8c below the 81 to 10 average
  18. A dry day so far with mostly clear skies allowing good spells of sunshine along with a light south westerly breeze Temp 6.5c with a low overnight of 5.2c
  19. A mostly cloudy and very mild night with a light south westerly breeze Temp 8.1c
  20. BBC weather for the week ahead not really showing anything overly cold over the next 10 days for the vast majority, maybe some snow and colder at times in Scotland, but that's not uncommon for the time of year https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/features/64033690
  21. Saturday 24 Dec - Monday 2 Jan Confidence is unusually low for the Christmas weekend; a north/south divide with cold air, wintry showers and increased risk of more significant snow in the north, and milder conditions with rain and showers in the south, is likely, but where the boundary will be is very uncertain. Eventually, as we head towards the New Year, the colder conditions are more likely to come to dominate, with wintry showers in the north and potential for a more settled spell to develop. This would bring below average temperatures, potential for areas of freezing fog with widespread overnight frosts, and very low temperatures given any snow cover. Towards the end of the period, there are signs of a trend towards more changeable weather, with an upturn in temperatures. Tuesday 3 Jan - Tuesday 17 Jan Confidence is relatively low during early and mid-January. Temperatures overall are most likely to be around average though there is a greater likelihood of cold spells compared to normal. There is likely to be a mixture of conditions with some settled interludes bringing overnight frosts and morning fog. These interspersed with more unsettled spells with outbreaks of rain and stronger winds. Snow remains possible at times, most likely over hills in the north but could fall to lower levels at times. https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/forecast/uk
