    east anglia is the driest place in the uk and where i live is very low ground many places around me like luton northampton and milton keynes get more rain than me, last night was the first time its rained since feb but it wont much anyway

    not enough rain here last night again but i do live in a desert you are much closer to the atlantic than me and i bet your avrage rainfall is much more than my area

    good post i agree there are too many people busy for unnecessary reasons and they all complain they want more light, have they thought the weather comes first then daylight if its raining they cant go outside to do anything anyway.

    good i dont want cold aprils as all it does is harm my plants and is not good enough for proper long lasting snow anyway

    what if we went tho GMT -1 that would mean 7am surises and 3pm sunsets in dec i wouldnt mind that as i cant stand dark mornings but that would never happen as it would be pitch black when kids come out of school

    i hope this isnt the last of GMT time as i hate dark mornings in winter if the clocks stayed BST time all year round. Next year there is talk of going double summertime meaning 1030 sunsets in june but i doubt that will happen and will prob stay BST

    since 2007 the jet stream has been going south in later summer hence the bad augusts i wish it only went south in winter as i like hot summers but hate mild winters

    new on here i class my location as south midlands as is to far west to be east anglia where some would say

    if the jet stream goes really far north then we could get some hot weather

    its about time we had a good august this year as the last few have been woeful might depend on where the jet stream is again
