    Weirdly NW, it has been around the 9th for days now and not pushed out further. i take that as time to reel in not keep searching but makes the next few days really nervy.

    Ahh, cold plunge into Europe, this is better even though an adjustment west of the ridge required. Think the EC is trying it`s hardest to join the other crew.

    Well, it is better in the sense the ridge is due North compared to NE.

    Still showing around the 9th where the dice are then thrown. Agreed, looks like more milder members post the 9th but trying to erase form my mind for now. Crucial few days coming up.

    Better from the GFS, cold air much closer to the east, better Atlantic ridge and cold not filtering into central US.

    Well said, Mike. The models are all fairly similar on the theme just the placement of the ridge and cold feed. This is getting good this zonal stuff
