  1. The Baltic coastal city of Ventspils has broken Latvia's temperature record for the second consecutive day - reaching 37.8C - at 57 degrees north.

      Neither Latvia breaking heat records or Death Valley beaking cold records prove or disprove global warming. They're tiny places in comparison with the globe, and we're talking about a miniscule timeframe.       what about showing 10 yr trend of cooler summers in USA

      Same could be said about the trend of rapid warming in Australia. The US isn't the globe and the summer isn't the whole year. Both sides can be made to seem correct if they cherry pick data.
