  1. A superb day with sunny skies for the most part Dry until around early evening when we had a solitary hefty shower. Temp reached 10.8C, but a slightly chilly feel in the breeze.
  2. Overcast and dry here to start. The rain out in the Irish Sea doesn't look like the 'patchy' affair the met talk about.
  3. A superb start to the day here, plenty of sunshine and promises to be a very decent day before things head downhill tonight onwards.
  4. iand61 They certainly don't make them like that anymore and of course the unmistakable shrill whistle of the A4 Pacific engines. What a sight they must have been roaring past at the best part of 100mph back in the day.
  5. A reasonable enough afternoon here, variable amounts of cloud cover but the sun coming through every now and again, reached 15.6C.
  6. It's been dry here since the showers moved through mid morning. Sun is popping in and out of the cloud, 15.3C.
  7. Just been out for a run, overheated a lot more than of late, a tropical feel to the air, currently 14C.
  8. A mixed bag of weather here this weekend. A couple of showers here this morning so far, but these have moved away and some brighter skies now, should hopefully be a dry and bright afternoon.
  9. After a few days of predominantly dry weather, it's a rather miserable damp day today with rain at times. No rain shadow here unfortunately.
  10. The decent spell of weather continues with another dry day today, although temps down on the past couple of days and a bit more of a chilly feel in the breeze. Max temp 8.4C.
  11. Another superb early Spring day. A chilly start and some mist rolled in early on briefly, but otherwise plenty of sunshine and a pleasant feel out, certainly no coat required.
  12. Yes, a spring like feel today and plenty of sunshine. Temp reached 11.4C, but with the strength of the sun, a different feel than if a similar temperature had been reached in December/January. The year is certainly marching on steadily.
  13. Another fabulous sunny and frosty start, overnight low of -1.4C. Some rain overnight tonight, but otherwise a decent week coming up by the looks of it with plenty of dry weather.
  14. A glorious sunny morning here after a frosty start and certainly beats the sleety rain fest of yesterday morning. It's shaping up to be a very decent day.
  15. Chris.R Didn't see any lightning, but had torrential hail about 30 mins ago or so, put down a slight temporary covering.
  16. The proper heavy stuff is knocking on the door now, but the temp is slowly rising, 2.5C, dewpoint 2C, so any trace hopes are diminishing fast.
  17. Joe Snow I'm squinting to see if I can see a bit of sleet in the rain, it does have a slightly 'lumpy' look so maybe a hint of sleet in there, but that's probably as good as it gets today.
  18. Rain getting heavier, hardly a breath of wind, will evaporative cooling come into play?
  19. cheshire snow Yeah, we'll see what happens when the more intense ppn arrives.
  20. Joe Snow Yes, at least the band of rain was relatively narrow and the worst of it moved through this morning. Tomorrow definitely looking grim, not the best start to meteorological spring.
