  1. Just been for a cig & a quick stroll, only about 6 inches on the main roads round here, no biggie yet.

    Must be past 10cm now in my garden, looking good.

    Looking at the unreliable radar, surely we have a long long while before this event ends? Looks like it has enough in it to get through to at least tomorrow afternoon.

    It is! Hoping it's still snowing in the late morning, that would be brilliant!

    The models suggest it should be, the radar doesn't seem to have an idea what's going on tonight!

    For a winter with no real prolonged cold and no long spells of snow on the ground, we've had so many days with snow falling. A couple of memorable events now, all on Fridays.

    What's the depth up there?

    Again, given the light nature of the precipon the radar, HOW have you managed that depth?

    Is it not possible that the radar could be incorrect? It really hasn't matched what has actually been falling at all tonight here.
