  8. Will it wont it ,highs and lows of a british summer .well another sunny day and not to hot ,realy love it when its like this .we do have the possibilty of a heatwave of sorts in the future outlook ,just in time for Wimbledon of course ,So i,m getting the STellas in and some Baps for the freezer , but first a 6 hour shift later ,might take a filled bap into work ,cheers .

    1. cheese

      cheese

Indeed. That's the problem with our summers.. no room for error. In places like Madrid, below average summers are still very warm. Here, they're awful. We need average or warmer than average - NEVER below average.

      Dami

    1. Weather-history

      Weather-history

I post on other weather sites and rarely do I see food discuss as much on this site, that's my observation. The NW regional thread was more like a gourmet forum than a weather site earlier this year!

    2. Dami

      Dami

no different than people saying they 'went to the pub' or 'for a walk' 'or on holiday' why shouldn't we say what we ate? weather and food are linked.

    3. Mokidugway

      Mokidugway

To be fair WH it's only in the times between stupendous weather events we get in NW !!!.

  13. my neighbours asked me on thursday night is it going to be thundery overnight and during friday of course i said yes all coming up from france . I should have known better by now ,after taking down our clothes dryer in the garden some of my recording equipment from on top our shed and getting all my photo equipment set up , a real let down here ,but the same as our snow chances [we have plenty of time left ] no doubt we will be all at it again soon . well a nice thatchers gold and some sausage baps will go down well tonight ,

  15. Just had a Tuna Bap ,not so mouthwatering as a sausage Bap but no sausages .Off for a five hour shift then lamb casserole later . lets hope plenty of us see a storm later this week ,the type of storm you can read a book by just by lightning alone ,and thunder to bring any soot down the chimney , good old dog he hides under the stairs ,cheers all .

Wasps ,frightening creatures ,did myself a sausage Bap took it up our summer house sat down to scoff it looked up and a massive wasp was building a nest inside the roof ,Hands up i was out of there very quick .but must admit the wasp was building a work of Art going to see which way its getting in then block up its entry ,i,v got no problems with snakes or spiders but wasps give me the cringe ,i can sit next too a busy bee , I may put a jam Bap up there laced with something ,cheers gang .
