    Finally that damn sea fog has cleared and it's nice and sunny now. 15C and feeling pleasant in the sun.

    Met Office not the best for UV's, UV awareness I find pretty accurate and it takes into account pollution levels and altitude, I suppose it could've been a UV 6 today but the atmosphere must of been very clear for that and I think UV-9 and certainly UV10 might be beyond anywhere above 47N apart from on high mountains.

    Sun feels quite strong today, making it feel o.k in the sun, tomorrow looks nice too glad to see the sun finally getting some time in the limelight.

    These last few weeks have been painful weatherwise to deal with but it is snowing a little outside, at least it's something.

    The Sun may be harmful and dangerous but it is very human to want to power of the sun as an energy source, it is after all one of the big factors that keeps life therefore it is natural to want it's UV radiation, providing precautions are taken, shame I have quite pale skin but can't get enough of a hot, intense sun.

    2002,2007,2008 (apart from the april snow event), 2011, 2012 were very tedious and forgettable also.

    Snowing here a bit, but even that has gotten tedious now, I think warm/hot weather is the only weather I can never get bored of, oh and 2CM+ snowfalls, they are always enjoyable.

    Thought I just heard a rumble of thunder around here and the sky has gone dark, probably just planes though because thunderstorms don't exist anymore.

    -1.9C here last night with a frost this morning, mostly sunny and milder now.

    0.1C, would be good to get a march frost and further compact the piles of snow left so going in the right direction.

    Much milder today as expected, snow mostly thawed but holding up well in areas where it's compacted and in Worthing there was actually more.

    Roads in the sun clear now, but refreeze could cause problems tonight, and shady areas still well covered, temperature 2C now though.

    Slight thaw in the sun now but holding well in the shade and it's 0.9C.

    Winters have definitely changed in the few 4-5 years, for the snowier, this is yet another memorable event in the period.

    Just reading some of the French Infoclimat forums in the Nord-Ouest/Nord-Est, 25-50CMS widespread, incredible.

    Sun is out now, ok the snow will start to melt in places but there is alot of it to melt and it's going nowhere in shady areas, weirdly it's still snowing at the same time.

    Just Measured, about 8-13CMS outside, with 11CM on the grass, very impressive for March especially when I remember the days of the mid/late 90s and 2000s when 5CM was impressive in January, might head out later to measure drifts as well.

    A day off college I think looks likely, although it's still open the trains are showing to be only delayed but alot of them get cancelled after that, I may be able to make it in but it's the getting back which is the problem as all London Victoria trains are cancelled and Brighton trains are also. still snowing here and a frigid -1.3C still.

    Still snowing, looks like a little more has deposited overnight, either way, this event won't be forgotten, deepest snow since Early December 2010.
