  1. Lot of sunshine to come for east of London. Even London City Airport in the mix.
  2. South London here. Cloud for about 20 minutes but sun out and fierce again.
  3. Looking at the latest radar for the SE. lots of moisture coming off the North Sea that doesn't seem to have been picked up in the forecasts.
  4. The interesting part of the models is will the trough that's developed out of the US stall, and if so where. I looks likely that it wont the models push it through over the next 10 days bringing us the breakdown with the jet flattening over nothern britain thereafter. If it was to stall over us (which is probably unlikely now) I think it could really take some shifting and we'll be in for a cool wet August. Interestingly there a hint that heat building in the 500's over Canada towards the end of the model runs appears to be feeding into the Azores high and strengthening it. esemebles for Paris show pressure rising steadily from the end of the week to the end of the model runs. This could indicate a late burst of summer sun middle to the end of August.
  5. Hello. I've not posted for a while but I was interested in people's thoughts on the jet stream forecast. Looking at it the jet stream it appears very weak indeed and split, south across north Africa where it's been most of the winter and north across mid and north Atlantic. Am I correct in this interpretation?
  6. Hello Forest Hill here South East London light snow since 7 now steady about a cm on the ground so far, at 8:30, should be interesting when the more heavy stuff hits I'm predicting 10cm here looking at the forecast
