Quick question, if the models are predicting a snow setup why is this not being reflected in the daily forecast? if I type OX11 into the BBC, MO or Netweather 5 day forecast it shows very light snow showers if anything. I mentioned the possibility of snow to my elderly parents and they should ensure they have plenty of milk, coal etc. .. they said the BBC aren’t forecasting it so there not concerned.
  3. The cars passing my office window have their wipers on intermittent !! = Light Drizzle !

  7. I am about as far east and north that this thread goes. Not sure if i should be here or London and S/E ... bit of a Nomad i think !!! I have not been out yet however the car is still frozen over, the sun is out with a few high clouds. If and when that changes i'll let you know
  8. just about to set off from Didcot to Villa Park, here's hoping for a snow free afternoon
  9. 1 cm now, it's been snowing for about 90 mins. Light to med fall but not big flakes. Good ground coverage
  10. Poor show in OX11, started at about 5pm, 2cm by 8pm all small flakes, at 9pm large flakes and heavy for about 20 mins before going back to small flakes, sleet then rain by midnight. As i write about 1cm remaining.
  11. Hi Guys, As i said yesterday, Didcot is in the middle of 3 threads ..... any views on my area. A number of sites say heavy snow followed by sleet/rain. Keen to have an alternative view please
  12. Didcot is one of those places that falls on the line of south midlands, south east, south west, never realy sure what region to look at .... I guess "South Central England" about covers it !!
