  1. believe it or not chess that is only in loggerheads!!!
  2. Saw a question regard leek/stoke and the roads, main ones are fine but side roads & country roads are a diff matter!!!
  3. has been all day ian! mind you radar hasnt picked up on the light stuff weve been having all day so you never no
  4. least you guys to the east are having a little bit of the fun now more the merrier for me when it comes to people joining the snow fun and games!
  5. sounds good wudnt mind 1 more heavy blast before things dry up mind!
  6. cudnt tell you where its heading now mate LOL seems to be stuck peterborough area and as it pushes N/W it runs out of steam, according to bbc was sposed to be moving E-W but doesnt look like it to me
  7. cant seem to work out the radar at the moment, just as it seems to be taking a steady direction the precipitation changes direction and intensity!
  8. thats what i thought it was gonna do but it seemed to do neither one thing nor the other it just broke up around the wolverhampton region and stumbled through, the heavier pulses seemed to slip up the wrong side of the M6 northwestward and these guys just got a wet winry mix, cant be greedy though eh!
  9. yeah we get that here alot chess, can see over the city one way, shropshire the other and all the way down the trent valley to the power station near M1 nottingham, sometimes we are white over and all around seems green, sadly its normally the other way round especially with a easterly it seems to get about as far as Burton then hits the invisible brick wall, anything NE/N and leek / buxton snuff it out! think if the wind had stayed more s/e we would of got a wider dumping than we did
  10. not bad for march!! being a fraction over 200+ meters and in a gale for 2 days has helped i suppose!
  11. dunno chess, i am blocked in on my road got a level 5inches i would say and the drift up to the letter box this morning was a surprise when i went for the morning paper, missus wasnt too impressed mind as i hopped over the drift to get out it fell into the house!!! will try and post a pic from a mate of mine up the road that he sent me earlier
  12. light snow in south stoke wind has picked up again radar direction is good for my location but seems to run out steam as the precipitation gets here, still unbelievable drifts and depths for late march though
  13. night all still going here in stoke all the best for the morning lets hope it all turns out all white!
  14. hey chess01.. think it will stay on and off all night the wind is stopping it from sitting on the peaks reckon it will pick up more around 9-midnight as regards depth its difficult to say, got drift at bottom of garden and an even 4" or so on the roads/paths but its so rough other patches are just wind blown and solid ice
