Distant rumbles just started in Romsey, presumably from the stuff coming up south east of the Isle of Wight, and turning very dark to the S/SE. As things stand it looks like we'll be too far west though.

I am interested in that little batch of showers over the New Forest area. They seem to be in line with the cells in Northern France so maybe a trough ahead of the cold front?

The direction of travel could put them bang into the area of high dewpoints and temps..

Yes they've suddenly sprung out of nowhere haven't they. Big splodges of rain falling here in fits and starts.

Sky is like a who's-who of convective cloud types here in Romsey at the moment. Recent light shower of big splodgy drops from one of the more developed towers. Something's going to fire soon I feel!
