Vale Park 70ft higher than where I am , belting down for half an hour there, the odd burstvhere but mainly sleet, maybe that slight elevation making the difference, the pitch is covered in snow

More flurries, over time today we've actually had a few hours of snow, unfortunately it's been at a rate of 10 flakes a minute

just had a walk around and light snow for an hour, I think it came from the extremely rare Hanley Park Lake Streamer, stuff that melted in the sun is refreezing in the shade

Snowing now by the hospital, there was a shower that started to stick about half an hour ago but melted as soon as it stopped

Decent shower around 10.30ish for an hour but the intensity never picked up enough to stick, another shower starting now. Bit disappointing, although I'm sure I saw Denis Quaid near to Newcastle library
