  1. Temp 20c but dp only at 7c at shoreham airport
  2. Well I am sat up on top of the trundle and I can confirm the day has turned into a blue sky day
  3. Way to far away from me my lighting detector has a 50 miles radius and the nearest storms are at least 100 miles away. There may be some high level activity going on I am just jacking work for the day so going to jump in the car for a bit of a drive.
  4. My lightning detector is going mad but I don't see anything on Radar with in range.
  5. Well hopefully that will be a good oman that we will start seeing storms like we saw 10 years ago down here on the south coast. About bloody time too.
  6. AWD That is a simple way to read a Skew-t But for us we need to Modify the Skew-T to get a reading for the T & Td for the time of day we are interested in. John Holms did write a tutorial on here some years ago that explains how to do it. Do a search for Skew-T and you should find it.
  7. Hi mjking73 good to see another local. Yeap I can hear distant rumbles and the strike alert gives an occasional ping too.
  8. It would help if i posted the correct images Li later today. But CAPE is in the CIN
  9. I am sat at my desk right on the edge of the IofW cell listening to the Strike alert ping being pulled to go down the to Hayling sea front with my cameras but I am so bloody busy I just cant although I am not going to get much work done whilst that cell is there. Grrrr
  10. I would agree with that Paul my strike alert is not pinging I am calling it a night I think it's not going to leave France
  11. They are flashing around ever 20 seconds
  12. Yes SM and the flashes have become more frequent too and slightly closer I won't look through your bedroom window lol
  13. I am sat down the seafront in a T-shirt there is breeze picking up but it is lovely. I am at the bracklesham.
  14. All I can see is the occasional flash in the cloud tops I have not even got the camera out. I think the lightning is still on the coast of France.
  15. I am sat down the seafront watching the occasional flash. But it is a long way off.
  16. Now that would be nice if it comes off and produces. I will be happy to verify if anything comes from it. And here was me thinking your were Paul
  17. I am glad there is only a slight chance of storms this week I am so bloody busy I don't need to distraction to be honest but I am in Friedrichshafen, Germany for a week or so next month so I am hoping for lots of Stürme und Blitz
  18. That is completely understandable. But for the sake of Tim and the other guys push on down the road and keep chasing. This tragedy is not the fault of any chaser but the Media needs to take some responsibility for broadcasting people should evacuate out of town. That act alone put many many people at risk and it was a miracle that there were no more fatalities. I am sure Tim and his team made sure other people were safe once they realised the tornado was bearing down on them. I know a lot of guys in the UK are sending you guys virtual hugs during this difficult time.
  19. You guys could help searching for Paul's video camera. More details here if you are interested https://www.facebook.com/verne.carlson
  20. Amazing video from Brandon Sullivan and Brett Wright of Tornado Titans - Extreme Weather and Storm Chasing getting their vehicle destroyed by a barn that gets blown apart right in front of them! Another vehicles is forced into the ditch, a hay bale hits them, plus multi vortex tornado!!
