    I have no idea how to save the animation but they do have still images for 15 minute intervals available via "Satellite Images".

    Yep. Met Office 5 day forecast is automated. NAE suggests no to minimal precipitation over the next 2 days and BBC tv forecast didn't indicate any more precipitation.

    I momentarily misread that as '67cm here'. Talk about wishful thinking!

    Wow, that forecast looked amazing. I'm waiting for that yellow Met Office warning to turn amber.
