Just popped into the Mods . Everyone's very happy. Bitter cold -14uppers coming back in nxt weekend. Here in S.E we never get above freezing at 2m all week..

Just got in.. Checked the app to make sure I'm not dreaming. BBC weather app has now upgraded and extended the freezing cold up till Sat. Not seeing plus temps till friday and then it's only 1c.. Loving the idea of lying snow for several days not just 1 day slush fest... Anyway pray to the gods this all happens. I'm like a big kid today waiting and watching...

Relax Canterbury and E. Kent will be fine... Sleety start but quickly turning to snow by 3 or 4 a.m I reckon..

My bbc app has us down for 34 hours of heavy/light snow from 3 a.m sunday through till monday late afternoon. Will more snow Symbols for monday night/Tues. Starting to get proper Excited..

BBC app has me down for 29 hrs of continuous light snow.. (Sun 6a.m till Mon lunch time.) If that happens I will be a very happy middle aged man. No measurable snow here since 2018 and even then we were only talking 3-4 cm..(my location). Best of luck to the whole S.E...❄❄

Yep This is not the outcome we worship in the south. The -8 uppers flirt wth us but font take hold until Monday night by which time the rivers will be overflowing again after more rain we dont need. Just one option on the table but I'm not liking..

Not better Rain into Whole of kent.. Pattern has clearly shifted north 100 miles..

Still concerning how close the milder uppers over France are..bit to close for comfort.

Whys it showing rain in East Kent. Surely the uppers are more than cold enough to produce snow by then even in coastal areas..

BBC app has me dry (East Kent) throughout mon , tues ,weds... Surely we would see more snow showers on that cold feed across the N sea ??

BBC Weather app now has 16 hrs of light continuous snow for manston in kent early hrs Sunday morning through the whole day wth temps around 0c Followed by 2 yes 2 ice days.. Cant be right ? Can it ? Has me dry Tues and Weds More Snow Symbols for Thurs..

Dont know why but I'm just not feeling it about this insuing spell. If as forcast by bbc I have daytime temps of +1-+3 c I cant imagine any sticking snow . Add to 5hat the 850s that seem to be around -6-7 average then there wont be any ice days either. I'm fully expecting cold wet slushy deposits... Hope I'm wrong and maybe upgrades to come but for 2 days now most models have the lows to close for comfort which for has temps on the ground to high for measurable amounts if indeed we get snow at all. A true Easterly would have penetrating frosts wth ice days..not seeing that anywhere in the models I'm seeing.. In case your wondering I'm on the East kent coast...

Bloody typical, the next 2 weeks Is cold Wth N.Easterlys.. we had to wait till April.... Roll on warmth...
