I'd take that. Suns strength gone by 3pm. Then bring it on. Snow falling after sunset would be much more preferable. If we could then have freezing cold surface temps of the continent for a few days I'll have quenched my cold thirst and be happy.

Yeah. Defo hoping for better than the odd flake falling. If we can keep cloud cover it would help slow any thaw. That sun has some strength to it today. Theres a 2degree difference between having sun or cloud right now.. Going on last nights charts this evening was always looking better for us Wasnt expecting things to get going till mch later today.. Thoughts ? .

Moderate flurry now. Temp dropped bck to 0c..

Dark clouds to the East. Still the sun shines. Temp briefly up to 2c (fallen back to 1c) Snow sliding off conservatory roof.. None of this is amusing me Bring on them showers..

No snow in Thanet right now falling. Sun is out.

Morning fine peeps Temp -0.3c So only just below Zero. I can tell you we just had a small flurry so that equates to 4 days of falling snow plus 4 days of lying snow with possibilities today. It's no mother of all cold and snowy spell but frankly after the last 3 years of nowt it will do fine Many thanks Snow gods..

Phew. Temp now back down to -1.2c My snow is now safe for another day..

O. Just been in the Mods. Not many happy people so quickly got out... Temp is now back at or below zero... Good ground cover still but had some melting on path areas. Will be very icy this evening..

Actually wth late February sun and a gentle southerly that will feel quite spring like one would think. -
Agree. Some places in kent , E. Sussex could spend 4-6 hrs under persistent snow streamers like today but I'm expecting more intensity tmrow.. Not great here today temps have risen to 1.2c so far after two ice days. (Suns been in and out ) Saying that theres not mch dripping going on ..

Temp exactly 0.0c Overcast again after a few glimmers of sun. Still a few flakes blowing around. Personally now looking forward to tomorow afternoon/Evenings offerings Convergence over kent/Sussex says beefy showers to my eye..

Yep Looking hopeful of 1 more day of seeing snow falling tmrow before a freezing cold few days.. Hopefully the snow sticks around atleast till the weekend so it can go down as a noteworthy spell (already is in my book). Snow flurries punched wth glimpses of sun here..

Morning peeps Couple of fresh cm overnight , so a nice squeak under foot. 3rd straight morning snowing all be it light (as I speak heavy). Bottomed out at -3.2 Currently -1.5 Brisk wind.
