  1. Just shows what he is doing is working. And the numpty who threw it is desperate. Probably cons.
  2. Freedom of Speech in Russia... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCxf9MtTpsw
  3. The latest from me is that Russian troops on the border have moved in to a phase where they are ready to roll their wheels across the border. They have changed configuration all ready to go, with quite a lot of activityIt doesn't mean they are going in, it might be to bluff out Kiev, but it may also mean that if things get out of hand with the Right Sector et al, they may feel they have to move.
  4. Live: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/newsfront Can't help but think the Ruskies are instigating all of this & are part of that crowd, no doubt.
  5. Ukrainian soldier has been killed in a bomb blast.
  6. Not sure where they are going, but that's quite a lot of Russian Helicopters... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTTj2i2Vcy0#t=183
  7. Yep, they sure are, although I have no doubt in my mind how the elections will go.
  8. Just hearing that UA have switched on ADS (Air Defence System). Not sure if you heard but Russia has been violating UA airspace this week. The UA mil is also now on full alert, not sure what intel they have, whether it is movements or something else, or if it is just to bluff the Russians, but they have gone on to full alert. Not sure if there is anything in it yet, digging...
  9. Seen on twitter news feeds X4 of the hostages are German military. Not confirmed on ground from anyone.
  10. God MSN media are slow on this. BBC starting to pick it up now, two OSCE monitors are missing. Not good.
  11. The enemy of who mate? Just come in, Germany has lost contact with OSCE monitors... Could be something, could be nothing.
  12. Chairman of Russian Council has called on Putin NOT to go into Ukraine. And on the other side... Ukrainian Defence Minister Parubly says "We are now in a state of war"... It's also worth noting that Russia can invoke article 51 of the charter.
  13. They are all as bad as eachother. RT is run by the Government of Russia. It's pure propaganda. Same as BBC, ITV, CNN, FOX etc - They tell you what they WANT you to hear. It's funny. I got told on the ground the Helicopter got shot down. Sky news are running with the story it was a technical fault... Why the discrepanices? Propaganda. That was a live story... Even though their website says "RPG".. Hmmm Kiev is still expecting an invasion from Russia at a moments notice.
  14. http://rt.com/on-air/ Can also confirm the tweet: Is genuine. Turchynov says the Ukrainian's military anti-terrorists operations will continue despite Putin advising he will take action if they don't. Is Putin the kind of man to back down?
  15. Indeed. Found a tweet: I'm trying to confirm that, but not heard anything of the sort.
  16. Hi Kiwi, I would imagine so yes. 18:30 Moscow time i'm being told. Joint statement with Lavrov too. Although nothing is on the formal press channels about a Putin speech/statement yet, but sources saying there will be. Lets wait and see. The UKR interior ministry have just said they are surrounding Mariupol city hall with over 100 national guard. Russians are also right at the border fences now.
  17. Russian forces including Artilery are literally meters from the Ukrainian Border.... Calling it "Major Exercises"..... Just to show where they currently are building heavily: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Gukovo/@48.0462556,39.9332077,14z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x40e1fbb7bc731f37:0xf9db5be1eeda417a NATO sources - currently about 20,000 Russian troops on the move. Confirmed now, they are relocating all troops to the border regions. Kiev feels an invasion is imminent and have stopped all actions elsewhere. They are not returning to barracks but rushing to border zones. Sorry have to keep editing, lots of info coming in to me here. Kiev govt is talking urgently to NATO, USA and allies and are preparing for a full scale invasion in the coming hours. Putin to address the nation within the hour.
  18. 99% of people in Eastern Ukraine do not want to to be part of Russia. What a load of tosh. Brits on Alert... http://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/ukraine-crisis/brits-alert-russian-destroyer-approaches-u-k-n88406 Pesky Russians testing us. Albeit to quabble the fearmongering it happens all the time.
  19. Everyone I am in contact with are VERY pessimistic. It is now becoming something of a battle of wills between NATO and Russia with Ukraine being the battle ground. It is very sad as all of the Ukrainians I have met have been very kind and generous people. Dutch air command F16's have intercepted Russian Bombers.... Russians have also appeared to have given Ukraine and ultimatum. Move troops back or face consequences.... What those are we don't know. Edit: Just got confirmation on significant Ukrainian troop movements in the southeast. Whether that translates to action or defection is another matter once crunch time comes. Edit: Kiev just announced the quote "security operation" will continue despite Russian threats
  20. Good stuff - I changed my password on every site I have an account with - that bug was bad !
  21. Get yourself a sat phone, you can't go wrong. Mine even picked up full signal at the Wrangel Island at the Tundra. Amazing - so if you only use your phone was ringing someone, get a Sat.
  22. Ouch.... http://novorus.info/news/policy/15233-pentagon-priznal-chto-imitaciya-ataki-su-24-na-esminec-vms-ssha-proizvela-demoralizuyuschiy-effekt-na-ekipazh.html
  23. Not sure I that article has any substance really. While it may be correct parts of tanks, helicopters, artillery etc have some form of Ukrainian parts, they certainly were not designed by them or manufactured there as a main body etc. The main think to remember is Ukraine was part of the USSR, which is Russia, just expanded, and most of the designers were in fact Russian - so I dont think it will matter what parts are where, or what parts were designed by who, the Russians have some great designers and can do there own. A brief history if you like, while I have some time. The Russian T-90's (Main Battle Tanks) were built by Uralvagonzavod, which is based in Nihzny Tagil, Russia. The T-80's which is the T-90's predecessor was designed by Nikolay Popov, who is Russian, they are also manufactured by Kirov Plant & Omsktransmash - Which are both based in Russia. The BMP-3's or Boevaya Mashina Pehoty if you prefer which are Russia's main amphibious infrantry vehicles are manufactured by Kurganmashzavod, which is based in Russia. It's the same with the BMP-2's The BTR-90's which are armoured personnel carriers are manufactured in Russia, by Arzamas Machine Building Plant, although these got cancelled until 2020 I believe. The BTR-80's were also made by Gorky Automobile Plant, in Russia. All of Russias Anti-Air vehicles, SA-8, SA-13, SA-15, SA-11, SA-19, SA-12 (although these ain't the Russian names, they were designated by NATO) were designed by the NII-20 Research Institute, which is actually no longer in business, but the main designer was Russian, Victor V. Tikhomirov his name was, clever guy, and actually won the Stalin Prize a few times. Again, they are all manufactured in Russia. The Self-Propelled artillery was mainly made by Uraltransmash in Russia, like the SO-152's. Now the Rocket Artillery which your article mainly refers to, the Russian's use BM-21 Grad, BM-27 Uragan, BM-30 Smerch, TOS-1 & 9A52-4 Tornado. The 9a52-4 Tornado was designed by Motovilikha Plants, which is based in Russia, and it is also Manufactured there. Omsktransmash designed the others mainly, but nothing to do with Ukraine as it;s own country with no Russian influence. Most aircrafts were designed by Sukhoi who are based in Moscow, and are Russian. The Mikoyan MiG's were designed by........ Mikoyan, also Russian, based in Moscow. The two main types of Helicopters for the Russian's is the Mil, and the Kamov's - Both which are based in Moscow, Russia, which is where they are designed and manufactured, Russia. So while I don't know what little parts have been made by Ukraine (maybe some, maybe none) the majority of up-to-date military equipment has been designed & manufactured by Russia. I'll ask and see what my chap knows about any Ukrainian parts, but from what I know, the Article is emphasising something which isn't really true.
