  1. Unfortunately always going to be winners and losers with Atlantic incursions, but I'd bank this for the north
  2. My local forecast just said snow from the middle of next week is a certainty. I fully expect a monumental backtrack from all models now
  3. For my own sanity I'm taking a break till the weekend. I dunno how you guys Do it!

  5. If it was a few days away I could understand but a week is like next year in weather terms. Even the professionals can't forecast accurately a week away so what chance do we have!
  6. I have no knowledge of the charts at all but I do wonder why we get excited about weather that's a week away when they change run by run?
  7. Here we go again. Fantastic runs only to replaced by disappointment again either later today/tomorrow.. When will we learn?!
  8. It's so rare to get synoptics that start off amazing and actually stay that way then verify akin 2010. This period just now proves just how rare of a period that was. Will we ever see it again? Probably. Is this time the same? No.
  9. Also can I ask is this eye candy as a result of the ssw? Seems a little early..
  10. Please guys don't do it to yourselves again. It's nice to look at but wait till its in the reliable (or maybe the next day) before you get excited!

  12. Wind definitely strengthening here. Starting to get some noisy gusts.
  13. If this storm was going to hit to saf I'm sure there would be an Amber and the met office all over it. Typical bias as usual
  14. So confused. 4 posts one after the other. 2 says good start to the day, 2 say poor!!
  15. Could easily delay or flip tonight or even as late as tomorrow.
  16. There is no voice of reason. Basically we don't know what is going to happen. All options are on the table going forward.
