  1. Just beat me too it. Small flakes blowing around in the breeze. But snow? In Weymouth? In November? Unreal.
  2. Mild, damp and grey again. The record needle is stuck. It's getting rather tiresome.
  3. I've gone through no data, but this must rank as one of the most miserable Christmas- New Year periods ever.
  4. Certainly the dullest most miserable Christmas to New Year period I can recall.
  5. If you wish for 50 shades of grey, just hope you spent the afternoon in Dorset
  6. Damp mildish and drizzly. Probably the worst Dorset weather you could expect any time of year.
  7. A cool overcast day today. Around 7c. Been in the model thread and absorbing it as I do, year after year, I expect no more than rain or sleet from any precipitation over Christmas. That said, I hope for the best and expect what we normally get. Wet stuff
  8. My moneys on The pest from the West. It's about all we have at the moment.
  9. Cloud & light rain now in Weymouth. Hoping for better things in the next couple of hours.
  10. Beast from the East, you gave us a feast. The blow from below, you delivered us snow. Ides of March, the death of Caesar, now bring spring a little nearer.
  11. There's a time to put your hands up & surrender. Water (that's liquid snow), is running off of every surface/roof now. They think it's all over.............................it is now.
  12. The thaw in Wool is underway. A steady stream of water from every icicle hanging over the porch.
  13. The snow & ice in Wool is still intact, so when cold rain hits a frozen surface, what happens next? Thaw?
  14. Snow radar shows the channel precipitation moving north into Dorset & Hampshire as snow, rather than rain. Whatever it is, this is probably the last hurrah to an amazing, weird even couple of days. I've had snow and ice many times before, but powder snow with an ice topping. I can't ever recall that.
