Looks to me like the bulk to the south west of Scotland is weakening dramatically. There's a heavy line heading this way but it looks like it'd only give half an hour or so of snow.
Got a nice stream of showers heading in and as of now the low looks like giving South Yorkshire and some of the North Midlands something. Hopefully more can get involved.
With the direction it's taking right now I'd be cautiously optimistic about our chances tonight but it's a very volatile situation. Still, looking forward to whatever we get because there are some interesting showers looming around.
There's almost twice as much here. The deepest depths must be quite localised because I'm sure as I was walking home from work there were areas that were at least 10cm.
Yeah, I have no complaints about this winter so far! Looks like we may have something a little more moderate coming over from the west and then that'll be it for a while.
As anyone can see from the radar, snow is still falling here and it looks like it won't be letting up for a while. Sometimes being in the middle of the country is good!
