    darlington have not done well out of this cold snap,seems we have not had that much snow ...looking at what others have had.

    Well i think i might be happy for it just to go away now lol like you said roads are wet slush going to take something to cover that.my eye.s hurt from looking at lamp post lights my head hurt.s from lack of sleep.and my daughter can't get back to her boxing gym .giving me more stress lol thanks for all the updates on darlington

    A thaw is defendantly happening in darlington .snow stopped now. Is there anymore snow due tonight and will temp go down for it to stick?

    Still snowing if you can call it snow not sticking just melting away i think. Its the worst kind of snow that's small grains you could mistake for rain if you didn't look close enough.

    Very wet snow in darlington not much sticking i don't think. Were is gavin to keep us updated about this area lol? Do you know how much more we might get and for how long cold

    We in darlington just had a short lived sleet shower i would say more rain than snow.

    Just been into town in the car 20min.s ago and it was defendant drizzle not sleet or snow stopped now in darlington.

    Good morning.well good covering of snow,sledge is out snow man well on its way one little girl very happy . Still snowing not much but snow all the same .no more moaning today from me.well as long as it does not rain and wash is away lol

    lol i know could not stay away went off in a mood came back when i seen the white stuff falling ,only because you lot know more about the weather than me ....will this snow shower last a while?

    gavin please done say the word sleet...we only just got snow ,i will end up in total melt down lol the snow still falling in darlington! anyone know how long it will last?

    My frustration comes in the form of my little girl sitting watching the news and kids playing in snow and her sledge being sat on the patio just waiting for the snow mum said was on its way lol i think i might give up on this eventfor the night and watch a film much more exiting lol

    I know Monday looks good but didn't it look good for us tonight and as far as i can see its now all but missed us other than the off flurry.hope your right though .

    Just looked on the met office.,says snow becoming light and patchy over much of the UK cold and ice .am i right in thinking the heavy snow for up from 6 tonight is now not the case ?

    We just did get a few flakes .I mean just very few. So disappointed right now but nothing we can do about the weather .

    yes sun in out in darlington and lots of blue sky .i did say earlier i don't think we will get much in the way of snow maybe a little later .

    I really don't think here in northeast we are going to get much snow at all.looking at a few forecast.s this morning it seems we might get a few showers.nothing much hope i am wrong though.

    just looked at the met office forcast plus a few other sites, am i right in thinking the northeast(darlington) are not going to get to much snow tomz? we have light snow right now mind when i say light i mean the odd tiny flake lol

    i just drove from one side of darlo to the other and there is pockets of fog here and there,very thick in parts.

    I am smiling now at the snow laden sky al be crying when i have to pick kids up in it lol.does look ever increasingly dark from my window i can see over to middleton st george its on its way just hope it settles so the sledge can come out

    A good covering in darlington right now look so pretty .a few have said it will turn to rain then thaw is this true.if not how long is it expected to keep snowing here.
