  1. You need to be using a fast shutter speed. Is it an automatic or SLR? I can't remember what you said you had.
  2. I heard something earlier this afternoon. Really loud rumbling it was.
  3. Rain is still going strong. Non stop since this morning.
  4. No afraid not but within the next couple of days. What's with the name change lol?
  5. Nothing here but glad some of you fared better. It's highly likely that the regionals will be merged shortly.
  6. Very Dark here, just had a hail shower. Temp dropping.
  7. Sunny and clear blue skies and feeling chilly. Quiet hopeful of seeing something later tonight when uppers of -8 are over us. Maybe a nice streamer.
  8. Matthew Hugo@MattHugo81 Nice little trough progged for Sat night to bring a risk of sleet and snow showers to parts of Wales/NW Eng - http://www.wetterzentrale.de/pics/brack1.gif
  9. Latest METO Forecast for NW England: 'Sleet and snow showers will extend from the northwest on Saturday and last through Saturday night into Sunday morning. These are likely to lead to widespread ice developing on untreated surfaces. In addition some 2-5cm of snow is likely to accumulate locally away from immediate north and west facing coastal fringes.' http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/nw/nw_forecast_warnings.html

  12. I feel like I'm in the opening scene of 28 Days Later Helloooooo, hellooooooo Where is everyone? Come on, come out, come out wherever you are.
  13. Latest 18z GFS run brings the cold slightly earlier with uppers of -6 and dam of 528 over the NW by Saturday lunchtime. By midnight on Saturday uppers of -8 are over the NW, by 3am uppers of -9 over the region and by 6am uppers of -10. So a potentially interesting 36 hours for the the NW I feel. Anyway here's Matt Hugo's thoughts: http://matthugo.word...18-19th-feb-12/
