Hope everyone is well apart from the lousy weather.

Yep never seen the River Ribble so high. It was low tide when I was in Walton Le Dale on Sat but the water level was still very high. You could see where it had been previously due to the water line on the battered banks. Lots of people evacuated from properties in Lower Penwortham also. Crazy stuff, never known anything like it.

Yeah I've got to agree. I find it hard to navigate round, everything all over the place.

It's actually very chilled out on here during summer and there's a thread for any upcoming storm activity which gets busy plus we have the USA storm chase feeds courtesy of Paul S. So plenty going on. So I hope a lot of you will hang around.

Regionals will be merged back into larger areas shortly now that winter is drawing to a close. I know that for us cold and snow lovers winter hasn't been great compared to the previous 2 winters here in the NW. It has been frustrating for sure so thanks for bearing with it and keeping posting. It's been nice to see both familiar faces and newcomers. For those of you who will will be leaving, I'll see you back here for Winter 2012/13. For those of you staying, then I'll see you around the place. Here's hoping for a warm summer with a few good storms chucked in for good measure. Cheers Kate
