Models are firming up on a decent shot of potential wintry weather next week, I don’t think you can rule out snow cropping up anywhere to be honest. UKMO stunning up to 144, GFS toying around with different ideas, I suspect as usual a half way house between the models is looking favourite! Lets hope ECM follows the upgrades on its last few runs, hides behind sofa! As said above GEFS heading in right direction!

Research Papers - Judah L. Cohen » climatologist WWW.JUDAHCOHEN.ORG A clickable listing of climatology research papers from 2002 to present. This research involves climatology, teleconnections, and the Arctic Oscillation. I thought he was one of the go to people for winter? Seems to have written a lot of papers which I will read through when I get chance. -

Yes definitely has been in the evenings at about 9pm

Feels really odd here at the moment, plenty of Daddy long legs, blackberries in abundance already, seeing my breath in the evenings, it’s almost as though Autumn is already knocking on the door, apples ripening, misty mornings and worse than all Halloween items in The Range!

Starting notice a bit more darkness earlier in the evenings now, which is a welcome sign, won’t be long until we start to have the nights noticeably drawing in, although the next 8 weeks are the worst for me. I yearn for Autumn and as a reverse sad sufferer I can’t wait. At least no major heat is currently forecast so that is a big plus.

One of the best days of the year! Now we can look forward to the descent into darker evenings - in 2 months time it will begin to get dark at 8pm and can’t come a day sooner, roll on Autumn and begone this horrible warmth.

I'm singing in the rain Just singing in the rain What a glorious feelin' I'm happy again I'm laughing at clouds So dark up above The sun's in my heart And I'm ready for love Let the stormy clouds chase Everyone from the place Come on with the rain I've a smile on my face I walk down the lane With a happy refrain Just singin', Singin' in the rain Dancin' in the rain Dee-ah dee-ah dee-ah Dee-ah dee-ah dee-ah I'm happy again! I'm singin' and dancin' in the rain! that’s all we have had here although didn’t expect anything different roll on next winter, this winter has been one of the worst! Although have to expect that living here
