    Further and more frequent and heavy snow showers. All schools in Shetland closing early and will remain closed tomorrow.

    Met Office haven't updated their warnings which is odd, usually done just after 11am. More heavy snow showers here btw. Schools that remain open are closing shortly.

    Snowing here. Just a covering in Lerwick at the moment but conditions further North on the islands of Unst & Yell pretty atrocious with around 4 inches of snow and drifting in the strong winds. Schools being rapidly closed. All inter-island ferry services suspended and looks like the Northlink Ferries between Aberdeen & Lerwick may be cancelled or delayed tonight.
