 tvh3382 Absolutely yes, re- the writen forecast, But remember they also state high uncertainty regarding the next 2/3 days but a week out much better.. Once the Models are past the next 2/3 days regarding how for North or South the Low goes then they should settle down in line with the written..

Yes Peak gusts between 10 till 4pm for the UK.

Sat out in the lean-to with the dogs and a Yorkshire tea.. Howling wind here with gusts into late 60's and heavy rain.

I don't understand. 2 days go many sites were saying 70mph gusts here and then yesterday morning 65mph gusts and then it's got lower and lower. Met Office and Netweather has us barely in the 50mph gusts category which is normal for a windy day in the winter down here and certainly not enough for an Amber Warning. So confused and a little disappointed as I was really looking forward to a good blow! 

I would wait another 10 hours then re-asses.
