      I killed them with 80% washing liquid diluted with 20% water put through a high pressure pump at 10m, Kills all the wasps in the nest when done early morning.

      Ended up in Fort William hospital on Wednesday in agony as was visiting up there, They could not scan as no facilitys so drove home that night (in agony) got scan appointment for Monday now and good pain relief.

      A big branch dropped over the access lane to my house last week and pulled it lifting far to big chunks as rushing cutting it up. My fault and should/will be far more careful in future.

      Thanks K, Feeling much better on these tablets as taken the pain away. Yes will be resting for the next 4/8 weeks as slipped disk & Sciatica.

  11. Quite chilly up in the Pyrenees the last few days with a northwesterly wind. There was even a dusting of snow on top of the Caningou mountain yesterday morning. :-)

  14. I'm taking some time out. I've just been given the news that my dad is dying. The hospital have treated all of us so badly, and gave us no information. I'm devastated. :(

      Just heard the Police closed the event at 7am this morning and revoked there licence. Bad organisation/security played a big part to.

      I have seen some pics from young locals and in places the mud is a good foot thick.. A good call I think for safety reasons especially given further rain this afternoon.

    SAI theory tick.png Biggest sub 60 degrees north anomaly for decades.

    Kara/Barents low ice tick.png Pretty much record breaking low anomalies there.

    OPI tick.png If it had still been around it would have been very negative. I read the original paper and have a very rough idea of how it was arrived at.

    Solar activity in decline tick.png A bit to go yet but no major bursts of geomag to go off the rails.

    Is Europe cold and going to continue cold, as per the above theories. tick.png

      2 maybe 3 some years up Snowdon, Usually groups doing charity event's and the likes. Although I tend to stick to the Highlands over Winter.
