Several high C class flares over the last 48hrs, Also at least 1 possibly 2 M class flares from sunspot 1865 a few hour ago, limited data atm due to SDO reversal.
Certainly a very interesting few days coming up to see how the models handle the two lows out in the Atlantic. Hopefully they will continue on a Southerly track !
So am i AWD and im sure Frosty is, but i also agree with Frosty regarding a colder pattern at the turn of the month, which the ECM has has been showing for a few days now.

ECMWF continues the theme from yesterday mornings run.. look were the Vortex wants to sit with all that warm air over Greenland, and how far South the Jet is, we could get a stunning Northerly flow from this set-up.

CHANCE OF FLARES: Sunspot AR1861 is pointing directly at Earth and crackling with C-class solar flares. Bigger eruptions could be in the offing. The sunspot has a 'beta-gamma-delta' magnetic field that could erupt at any time.
