  1. First meaningful shower of the day here. It had to be when I was walking back from the shops, with no coat or umbrella.. Really hope we hit the jackpot later ;-)
  2. Heavy dew falling on all surfaces now. Current temp 16c. Feels very close. Goodnight all
  3. Yes mate I did. The thing I notice about SOME cyclist (and I am not branding all cyclist like this by any means) is that they have no care or consideration for other road users ie cars, lorries etc, and also pedestrians. I drive around London every weekend doing the knowledge, and they jump red lights, undertake vehicles who are indicating to turn left, and when you pick them up about it as I often do you get abuse thrown at you. I honestly believe that cyclist should have some kind of marking on them (like a registration plate, but smaller) to make them adhere to the Highway Code, knowing that if they drive recklessly they could get fined. They also have to remember, like motorcycle drivers, they have nothing around them to protect them, If they get hit. When I drive my motorbike around London, or even locally, I'm so mindful of others, and the irrational things drivers do behind the wheel of a vehicle. Sorry for the completely off topic post, but Jax did start it hahaha 😄
  4. Evening guys. Gloomy all day here today, and after the early morning deluge it's stayed dry all day . Just popped out to the shops and it feels quite muggy. A slight mist is also developing. Looks like some of the region has been taken out of the met office warning for tomorrow. Looks like the South Coast and parts of Kent, Sussex etc look best placed for the rain, with Essex and EA missing out altogether. Is that still the case?
  5. Morning all. Been awake since 5.30 (yawn) because of the very heavy rain battering against the windows. Looks like it's clearing now, which is good for the school run 😄 Have a great day guys
  6. I went out around 8pm for an hour or so, and the breeze was very previlent. Just popped outside a few minutes ago, and it's as still as anything. Fickle thing is this weather.... Goodnight
  7. As I always say, thanks for great updates JPðŸ‘. What's the weekend looking like? We have quite a few outdoor things planned. Cheers mate
  8. Lets hope it stays that way and happens mate. Knowing our luck in this regional thread, it will turn out as drizzle 💤💧
  9. Thats the perfect autumninal / winters evening. Nice any cosy, while the weather outside is gloomy. 😊
  10. So now we can rename the TOD to TOGS ( Triangle of Glorious Sun) 😄
  11. Evening all. Lovely start to the day, albeit a tad chilly. Come 11am ish, a bank of heavy cloud banked itself over my location and hasn't moved since.
  12. Your story is going to give me nightmares tonight 😵. It actually made me flinch reading it. Hope the old boy is better soon 👼
  13. Evening all. Had a really nice afternoon here, once the cloud had broken. Didn't feel to warm to me today, as it was still breezy, and I now have man flu (okay a mild cold😉) As I said yesterday, I took my children to collect conkers yesterday afternoon... We amassed quite a few in the end to their delight😄
  14. Afternoon all. Dull and breezy here today, that's not gonna stop me and my little ones going to the forest to collect conkers.... Hoping to get some good ones, then back home for a few games.
  15. Evening all. A drab day weather wise here. After the mid afternoon showers finished, I took my eldest son to the park, with some nuts, to feed the squirrels.... We had a great time, and got some close up pics on my phone... Sorry they are sideways, posted from my phone....
  16. Evening all. Has been partly cloudy today, but always bright 😃. The wind has picked up a bit now, and even by my standards it feels a tad chilly (but, by no means central heating chilly). Our charity lunchtime walk over the local nature park went brilliant, and we managed to raise £180 for the teenage cance trust. On top of that, we saw some great sights of nature. Blue dragon flies, wild ponies, a weasel and a few birds which I can't remember the names of, but was very enjoyable to watch. Thanks for the update JP, and enjoy your Cobra's Coast. Mine are chilling ready for me tomorrow ðŸ»
  17. Morning all - A lovely bright fresh day here. Looks like the weather is playing ball today, which is good. As i'm off out with my work colleges for an hours long walk, in the nearby country park. We are raising money for the Teenage Cancer Trust, on this National Fitness Day. Good day to you all :-D
  18. Been a lot better here today. Had partly broken skies for most of the day, so was able to top up on some vitamin D whilst going for my usual lunchtime walk. Felt fresher of late so that made it feel more comfortable. We have pretty much 100% clear skies now, so that will be good for a bit of star gazing later.
  19. Morning all. A better start to the day here. Broken cloud and bright, but a cooler and fresher feel to the day. Not bad at all :-)
  20. Pahhhh.... That's what the weather can do. Goodnight guys and girls. I'm off 😴
  21. Great day today... If you like low, medium and high level cloud, with no sun 😴. As I left work at 6 I could see the outline of the sun through the cloud, but that's as close as it came today. Felt very muggy also...
  22. Feeling very warm / muggy outside. Current temp 17c. The suns not playing ball this morning, it better pull its finger out and work harder... Still low cloud here. ;-)
  23. Morning all - No fog here this morning much to my dissapointment. Instead we have low cloud, which as I type seems to be burning off. Heres hoping for an afternoon like yesterday.
