It felt like a proper storm too. Proper rolls of thunder, and the odd crack of lightning for me. Couldn't really see the structure, as it seemed to be embedded in the rest of the system, but from what I've heard elsewhere, it was good. Could tell there was a bit of a wall cloud too.

I got missed by 1 storm, then had the first supercell straight above me, lifting a bit of moisture up. The second, bigger one, turned right before it had chance to get close..

I'd hazard a guess that it was definitely a supercell, and at least one of the setups behind it was too.

I'm waiting for the 1215 pass of the MODIS satellite to be put on the site to see what the tops looked like, but they're massive from here.

Satellite view from earlier on, NASA EOSDIS Worldview sat. I've now got clear sky to the south of me. Think I'll stick my head outside in about 20 mins and see if I can see the top of the cell to my SE.

I think I may be in the firing line of a supercell... I live just to the top of the 'red zone', and its tracking that way....

Definitely flooded in Ilkeston. Caused about £20 of improvements.

The cell I'm looking at has recycled and is going to pass between Doncaster and myself. I may nip out for a closer look
