Not expecting anything remotely stormy in my neck of the woods today.

No surprise the storm capital of Shropshire gets hit!
Still waiting for an overhead storm this year! Comes to a things when your 10 year old lad is convinced Albrighton has a storm sheild

'Summer' if you can call it that, the least sunny spots in the Midlands (Shropshire) only June was nice, July and August were awful!
I really hope we don't get a cold winter! Dreading the prospect of a really cold winter in my flat!
-
Really uneventful 'summer' stormwise. Seeming how empty this is I must be one of the unlucky ones....
-
Been unlucky again, storms tracked east and west of me. GRR!!
-
Think I'm gonna go outside and put my bins in the way of the pub carpark, so when the bins get moved I can pretend it's thunder...
I'm either too far West, East, North or South!
You see it coming on the radar and then it goes, woah, it's that grumpy bloke that moved from Telford, quick veer West.....

On Flightradar24 a few planes have been put into a holding patterns now waiting to land at Birmingham Airport .
No thunder here yet , hoping it doesn't burn out before it arrives . Missed out yesterday as it went west of here .
Yeah i have seen about 7 or 8 planes pretty low for around here (apart from earlier when Cosford was on lol)

Still here! If I hadn't have moved I would have been out Telford get its 1st storm in 2 years!
-
Not getting my hopes up, was looking forward to some storm action but like pretty much every time I'm either too far west, east, north or south!!
It was sods law yesterday as many times when I lived in Telford storms would track over brum and Wolverhampton and would miss Telford completely! All I get is distant rumbling
Yesterday Telford get the storm and all I get is distant rumbling, didn't even see any lightening!
If I don't get a storm by the end of this summer I'm throwing the towel in and coming to the conclusion im cursed

It comes to a thing when your 10 year old lad says if we had been in Telford the storm would have come here I have taught him well

Horrid day yesterday, rain all day, cold. Today has started misty but it is clearing slowly!
-
Beautiful today, sat in the garden with the kids playing. It feels quiet warm.
It's been a great week for my electric, only cost me £18 hopefully the last of the vile cold weather!
-
My 10 year old summed it up yesterday, he said he cannot remember the last time he heard thunder and asked why is was so rare
I said its just where we live, other places get it, then went on about the Shropshire storm shield which he said, is that real. Bless!

What a depressing season this has been for my area stome wise. So much promise. Tuned out like watching Southgate's England, deary, dull and predictable
