22.2°C lunchtime, slowly dropping until the big 8°C drop in 40 minutes as the downpour passed over. Feels lovely now at 12.6°C!

Tenth day of 20C+ with 24.8°C in the garden. Humid, definitely - was dripping sweat after a 40 minute not even that vigorous walk, this afternoon. Trying not to wear one of my dozens of black t shirts..... Was later to be found hanging out in the fridge and freezer aisles in Peebles Tesco. This made me chuckle:

23.2°C so ninth day of 20C+. Refreshing breeze, thankfully. Jealous of your river swimming @CatchMyDrift. Only limited padding in the Tweed here! The dogs look well happy. Is that a road or railway over bridge?

25.2C - phwaorrrr what a scorcher! Seventh day of 20C+ Broad Law has lost its snow patches - can't see any evidence today. Didn't quite make it in to June!
-
A mere 23.9C in Upper Tweeddale! Sixth day of 20C+. Twot. Recently transplanted tomato plants getting sun scorch on their leaves

Well what a wind. 50+mph at Drumalbin but the funneling down the upper Tweed Valley meant I nearly, uncomfortably nearly, got blown into the water.... And this wee film wasn't even one of the sporadic gusty spells: VID_20200523_151029.mp4

That's it Catch. Nasty wee low pressure: I might be off on one, but I've also a memory that it's a named phenomenon to have a deep depression at this time of year?

Got up to 21.2C here yesterday. That's our fourth day of 20C+ (can you guess what arbitrary observations I'll be counting and boring folk with this summer?! ). First grass cut in the evening on notch three. Rain this morning.

Last 30 hours of ppn is the first to "soak in" for nearly two months. The difference in the greenness of the garden in such a small amount of time is astonishing. You can hear the bloody weeds and grass growing. Up to 14.3°C. Managed to stay dry on dog walk - saw the local sika deer for fifth consecutive day.

Not a bad day at all in the neighbourhood. Warm in sunshine, chilly in breeze when cloud rolled-over. Got up to 12.5C. Still some snow patches on Broad Law at 840m - not bad for 15 May:
-
2nd October HC. Interesting to compare a full year of minimum temperatures at EDI: Almost looks like spring is stalled this year - usually it's a smooth upward sine wave (or something like that - I forget the term!)
-
Forty-third air frost at -2.8C and the coldest night here for six weeks. Brought the plants inside in anticipation - phew!! Brilliant sunshine earlier but now cloudy and 11C. Maybe the lightest of showers this afternoon but not expecting much. Looking at the forecasts I wonder if we will squeeze one more air frost tonight, but that may be it for the season... Or maybe not.
-
Forty second air frost at -0.5C at dawn. Clear bright morning, but a wee bit of cloud about now still only 5C. My wee geraniums and fuchsias must be shivering!
-
Classic post @CatchMyDrift!! Forty first air frost at -1.9°C the up to 11.5°C - here's how low the Tweed is right now:
-
Temperature got down to 3.8°C at 10.30am. The NE wind has blown much of the mayflower off the trees, so doing a good impression of a dusting.

20.1C means it was the fourth day of 20C+ this season. Quite the diurnal range of 21.2C. As others are saying - simply gorgeous. Blimey!
-
Fortieth air frost at -1.1C. Same number of snow days two years ago.... Absolutely crystal clear now and set up to be a stunner - high teens maybe fourth day of 20C+.

That blob first developed over my house from about 11am. Led to a couple of hours of variously heavy/slight rain before moving ESE. Went three miles north for the daily dog walk/exercise as sheep have appeared on our regular route - and caught this shot which has to be some of the freshest spring grass amongst the ash:

8.3C max in a cold persistent wind. Hat back out from the drawer. Raining properly now. You'll have had your summer.
