  1. Not the best choice for a day out to Hawick. It'll be a moody drive over the hills mind, looking forward to that part.
  2. Gin!? Naughty. Meanwhile it's the Autumn Public Holiday in Edinburgh tomorrow. I have beer in front of me, which is purely coincidental.
  3. Woken at 04:00 with torrential rain and very gusty wind. Autumn proper!
  4. Sun came out mid afternoon. Walked in greenhouse and glasses steamed up.
  5. Love the purple haze. Often camera shots don't pick it up to that degree. Fantastic.
  6. 18°C here in Tweeddale. We are in the soft drizzle of low cloud hugging the hills and the forest - muggy with damp surfaces.
  7. From showery rain at 6.15am to sunny skies 19°C at 3pm. Lovely day.
  8. Disgusting morning commute. Lovely return journey - 17°C and sunshine all the way. Noticed leaves are changing colour today on a few trees. Autumn around the corner.
  9. 15/15°C muggy, drizzling but a warm sun attempting to break through.
  10. Interesting that temps were forecast to take quite a dive into the low teens only a couple of days ago for Weds - Sat and now they are mid to high. 21C here too...
  11. How's that tea going down M? I'm struggling to concentrate for lack of food. Grey and now dry in Leith.
  12. Yes, it's a dreich morning. Low low cloud driving up behind Pencuik - smirry rain. Doesn't smell like autumn though, just yet.
  13. Very pleasant afternoon at the Peeblesshire show. Bits of blue sky but mainly cloudy - warm. Bought a mug lol..
  14. Drizzle/smirry rain on. Saves me half an hour of watering!
  15. Look at the two horizontal lightning traces - they're identical. One would have been sufficiently stunning N!
  16. Shame it's been photoshopped Norrance. Bet there was an original decent photo there.
  17. Just come back in from 30 minutes up the hill behind the cottage... Huge thunderstorm with frequent lightning and a stunning curtain of rain rapidly moving north to my east. Wonderful show. Watch out Edinburgh.
  18. Yss, the cold front sliding SE has certainly pepped-up with reds on the radar. Will hold off with the infinite watering this evening
