    Sun came out mid afternoon. Walked in greenhouse and glasses steamed up.

    18°C here in Tweeddale. We are in the soft drizzle of low cloud hugging the hills and the forest - muggy with damp surfaces.

    Disgusting morning commute. Lovely return journey - 17°C and sunshine all the way. Noticed leaves are changing colour today on a few trees. Autumn around the corner.

    Interesting that temps were forecast to take quite a dive into the low teens only a couple of days ago for Weds - Sat and now they are mid to high. 21C here too...

    Yes, it's a dreich morning. Low low cloud driving up behind Pencuik - smirry rain. Doesn't smell like autumn though, just yet.

    Very pleasant afternoon at the Peeblesshire show. Bits of blue sky but mainly cloudy - warm. Bought a mug lol..

    Just come back in from 30 minutes up the hill behind the cottage... Huge thunderstorm with frequent lightning and a stunning curtain of rain rapidly moving north to my east. Wonderful show. Watch out Edinburgh.
