  1. Seems to dying out now, looking at the radar it's hard to tell whether that's it or we'll see a little more. I suppose my 2cm is better than nothing, maybe one day I'll see another big dumping of snow before I'm being spoon fed in some old folks home.
  2. We started with that amount earlier this morning before it was washed away with spells of wet snow. It's been a strange event this one Crew, by all accounts you should have copped a lot of snow. Just goes to show that it's best to ignore model output when it comes to snow.
  3. Still snowing moderately here a nice covering of around 2cm, temp now 0.8c.
  4. And right on cue as I write it off, it's snowing heavily and accumulating.
  5. Stop your whinging you've had your fill this winter.
  6. Yep another couple of hours and most of us will be dry by the looks of things.
  7. It's been a while since I've seen spindrift, your in a fantastic location for snow whichever direction it comes from.
  8. Apart from the precipitation issue another thing that hasn't been in our favour are the temp and dewpoints. Even now the temp is fluctuating between 1.4c to 1.8c and is only forecasted to drop to 1c overnight.
  9. Tempers fraying on the Net Weather NW snowless thread, gimps and spoons please calm down.
  10. I was hoping for my only decent snow cover of the year out of this, I should have known better though as if it's not from the NW we rarely ever see anything.
  11. We need a sense of humour with the crap climate we endure twelve months of the year.
  12. Looking like the second band is now upon us, temp has now dropped to 1.5c but still any snow is struggling to accumulate.
  13. My jackboot sense of humour isn't always appreciated.
  14. I'm not from Manchester but this winter it's been like living in one's own micro climate. Still tis only weather and cricket season will soon be upon us.
  15. Snow intensity increased again, blah, blah, blah, still not sticking.
  16. Agree CC, roll on some spring warmth and sunshine please.
  17. Deaths everywhere GB. It's being so cheerful that keeps me going.
  18. The MetO have me down for light snizzle from 18:00 - 21:00, thereafter dry for the next five days.
  19. Stopped again here, still no accumulations. It's looking more and more likely this is going to effect the areas that where in the amber zone only, as per my forecast earlier. Much ado about nothing for the rest of us I'm afraid.
  20. Snowing fairly heavily now although not accumulating, again. Temp has dropped to 2.1c.
  21. Indeed, a little overhyped for the majority of the country really, although those in NE Wales look like getting in excess of 30cm.
