    A report of NLCs from Norfolk this morning. Several reports of Aurora last night too, but didn't pick it up. Saw a bright orange meteor at 01.20 this morning near the plough heading SW. Most likely an early Persied.

    Not sure how much surface heating there will be today. A lot of cloud around now though. Convergence around the low could be enough to force convection despite lack of sunshine.

    Almost 1mm of rain overnight, not sure the drains can take any more.

    Perhaps a small chance for a few rumbles in the rain for southern areas overnight. There's line convection in the SW now.
