    My photos of the day....a big thanks to Dave LP for the advice and the use of his mojo for the day!! We have Cows!!!!!!!! Storm Cell falling apart 0.8 miles from WY/NB border..not surprisingly speaking of surprises.. tried to be arty here!

    Hey Hun, the Nikon D3100 is a good one to start with but is missing some of the nice features other DSLR's have such as bracketing . The advice I was given is to break it down to 3 or four different makes/models and go to a shop to play around with them to see what you think is easier to handle and use

    annual travel insurance or dog tag seem to be the ones who will cover chasing

    Annual Travel Insurance are alright (www.annualtravelinsurance.com) I saved £90 by buying an annual policy with them. Stormchasing is covered by their Grade 4 activities but ou may need to stump up for the Super Plus cover as the medical claim limits are half than those on their normal policies

    If it's any consolation I've had to put in a claim for a new windscreen so the car passes it's MOT on Thursday and my car insurance quote went up by £80 ..not happy since I have a £100 excess and have just paid for chasing and travel insurance

    I always go with an annual policy as generally it works out more cost effective for the extra, clearly not in this case...
