I made a mistake and brought blackout curtains for every window, I may have well just turned every radiator on full. My house faces south so in the early morning I get sun at the front but by 10am I get sun on my back windows until 7/8pm. I have had a consistent 28 to 30 downstairs for the last two weeks.

Is there three lines of convergence over England/Wales right now? and why has that heavy rain in Scotland not producing lightning?

Yeah, heavy showers. Thunderstorms no. A few flashes of lightning that will be it.

Any chance for NW London later or should I just go to bed?

So no ppn, but they say lightning. Sound dangerous concidering how dry we are. Hope I'm misunderstanding things.
Wildfires have already been a problem. Thankfully, most lightning stays in the clouds.

I am getting 2012 Olympic Torch relay vibes from this set up. It was 35C down here whilst supercells where threatening to put out the torch to the north.

I designed the WIW logo for Richard a few years ago, glad to see he is still using it, I even made a few different coloured ones so they could show weather warnings. Would that funnel/tornado be classified as a cold air funnel?

The sky is on fire,! Beautiful ornages and reds.

Decent storm just rolled over Watford (im in North Watford) some of the strikes got a little bit too close, Calmed down quite a bit as it went over the M25/M1 junction.

Some of those strikes were a little to close for comfort, seems like it has calmed down abit as it went over the M25/M1 Junction.

Estofex issued a 5%, for a few pop ups. METO gave a warning for localised disruption. A couple heavy showers may produce some lightning. Widespread thunderstorms won't happen.
