Quite a spectacular finish by Carbide in that new Robot Wars series on BBC2. Brings back memories of the old series with those great robots such as Hypnodisc, Panic Attack etc. Sunday evenings will become a bit more exciting now.

My secular prayer for today: May the guiding wisdom of Airbus, Bouygues Telecom, Orange, Virgin and Ryanair be with the British people. May it protect them from a decision based on the ill-conceived folly of independence...

Sorry Spikecollie, I voted out, the whole of the EU seems very dangerous to me and I can see it getting a whole lot worse if we stay in. We need innovation and manufacturing industries not just cheaper flights and phone tariffs. Vested interests in the EU cloud judgements of whether its good for everyone or good for some. I stand with JCB, Aston Martin, Tate & Lyle and Dyson.

Reading the BBC monthly outlook sometimes make me wonder why do I bother with the weather as a hobby! Even knitting would be more exciting!

I think today is the first day I can start to feel some warmth in the sun now. Very pleasant afternoon here in Falmouth.

Anyone know why Netweather was asking if I wanted to run NIVIDIA 3D Vision? Is it a new feature?

I cant believe they haven't retired those diesel beasts yet, they used to run on the Abbey line running from Watford to St Albans, my school playing field had a fence that backed onto the track, they would run back and fourth all day in the Network SouthEast livery, they replaced them with London Midland class 321s a long while back.

If Netweather was a country, what would the capital city be called?
