Most notable was the incredible cold and snow in the final week, some record breaking low temperatures, and over half a foot of snow accumulated by the end of the final day. -9.4°C on 28th is a record low temperature for the date. The mean temperature contrast between the 1st week (8.1°C) and last week (-2.5°C) is quite astonishing for the maritime climate.
