  1. Yup. In all honestly it looks like it'll get worse before it eases off throughout the night.
  2. I thought the convergence line was due to move south past Edinburgh throughout today? Still plenty of beefy showers lined up for Dundee.
  3. Got a good covering now here in Dunfermline. Roads, roofs, pavements, cars etc all white. Must have fallen in the past 45 minutes or so whilst I was in a meeting.
  4. Rarely post on here, mainly lurk. But looking forward to seeing what this event brings today. I'm just inside the Highway to the Amber Zone here in Dunfermline, at the top end though sitting at 133m asl.
  5. How far south are we reckoning this blob will get before fizzling out? Also, whats with the feature running down the country later on tonight? I see it on the BBC maps but no mention of it at all in the forecast.
  6. The stuff lying outside the now doesn't look like going anywhere as well with temps at or just above freezing for the next few days.
  7. Finally, snow! Discovered that the street lights here are terrible for snow watching. Ground looks awfy wet though.
  8. The radar has dundee directly under the precip, yet I see nothing...
  9. Im currently looking out my window onto the high street and I see nothing!
  10. Snowing in Dunfermline area by the looks of my twitter feed...
  11. Left my parents place in Lochgelly and now back at the flat bang in the center of Dundee. Can't help but think that was the wrong decision for snow seeing tonight!
  12. Ahhhh, thanks! According to that, the two locations seem to be pretty much the same. Im thinking maybe Dundee will have a slight advantage in terms of snow showers and general coldness due to being further north than Dunfermline. Thanks again!
  13. Not totally sure if I have this in the right thread but didn't want to start a whole new thread just for one wee question. Basically im wondering if anyone knows how much it snows here in Dundee? I know it's pretty low down and sort of close to the coast (to the river). Im just wondering because I last winter I lived in Dunfermline, a good bit above sea level and somewhat more inland than Dundee (ive moved to Dundee for Uni). Just basically wondering how these two locations will compare in terms of temps and snow days? Thanks, Stu
  14. Haha! I'd settle for the glitchy chart! I think most of us would take lovely sunshine any day
