  1. So further east is getting snow, and further west is, and here I am. Stuck in the middle. ?
  2. Nothing here, and I must be just down the road from you!
  3. Brilliant - glad you’re seeing something more, and that the radar isn’t completely lying either! ?
  4. That’s the problem, the radar for everything from the midlands northwards doesn’t look definite.
  5. Is the strengthening wind because the centre of emma is further NE, squeezing the air over the top of it?
  6. That wind must be gusting at least 60mph at times. Worst it’s been today.
  7. There’s too much of a rain shadow happening so far. Radar looks really messy and doesn’t seem to be telling a true story.
  8. Same - got the odd flake whizzing past the lamp post at 50mph haha.
  9. the m62 looks like the northern boundary of this at the moment..
  10. YOu can see the rain shadow effect on the radar.
  11. Amber warning for the SW has moved a bit further NE, so maybe Emma is encroaching a bit further northwards?
  12. I think that’s it now for the west of the region. Tomorrow doesn’t look exciting either.
  13. Really hope t gets here. I’m right on the edge of it and have been for the last hour. I may just be too North.
  14. IS The stuff in Cheshire on the radar actually that heavy? I’m back from the meeting and seem to be right on the edge all of that snow. It looks like snow outside but it’s doing nothing.
  15. It just needs to fill in a little further north haha!
  16. Haha brilliant! This will be very interesting if it does. The sky looks snowier than it did this morning, and the wind is horrendous!
  17. The band seems to be filling in more in south Cheshire and Staffordshire.
  18. I’m not too overly confident for the next few days, it seems most of the worst will slide into the SW and then Ireland.
  19. BBC just say that the snow in the midlands should intensify.
  20. BBC doesn’t show much snow for here tonight.
  21. ? don’t think the forecasts have too much of a clue today!
