Just turned from rain to snow in a matter of minutes here in western Sheffield (200m asl). Thick heavy snow pelting down, cars coated in a couple of minutes and temp continuing to drop. Down from 1.7 to 1.0oC over the last 5min. Quite a spectacular event...

Me too - quite heavy sleet / almost wet snow for a while in Bents Green (about 200m). Just an hour after putting the winter tyres on the car.... Bring it on !!!

Light snow falling for around the last 15 min here in S.W. Sheffield. Light dusting already covering everything.... Looking forward to the next couple of days.

Just up at Stanage, about 6 miles west of Sheffield and 400m asl. About 2-3 inches of snow from Friday still lying, temps around 0oC and steady light snow fall from a low overcast. Here's hoping for much more of the same over the coming days....
