Remember how nailed on the models were to last years Christmas cold spell and 3 days out it was all set to happen ....

Very much like the position we are in now at 3 days out from the very mild Monday

We all know what happened next ....

The models REMOVED the cold spell

Maybe, just maybe the same thing could happen here and when we come back tomorrow we see the mild interlude has suddenly vanished

    GFS changes from this

    Could contain: Blackboard, Chart

    To THIS

    Could contain: Blackboard, Chart, Plot

Wouldn't that one be nice for coldies to see the mild interlude ERASED?

Unfortunately because we are a maritime influenced island the likelihood of the models being right about milder weather is far more likely as that is the form horse, bit this winter, and this year in general, has been somewhat strange, anything is possible

  2. According to the met office, the yellow snow warning does not affect Crowborough, so it must be white rain falling outside for the last couple of hours, it had been raining quite a bit today, but the roads have gone white again now.

I really hope the whole region can get a decent wintery blast before the season is over, it honestly makes me sad when some miss out
