Seeing as lately there seems a Alaro love fest. That models is showing (for the bits we can see) a 7 or 8 hour spell of snow for many eastern parts on Tuesday very similar to its 0z run .

No don’t need to post rainfall depth charts either! My point is there is clearly a signal for things to turn wet from the Atlantic through next weekend onwards and I was pointing out this could potentially be a wet march! And we know that snow depth charts never come true, there are many factors for accumulating snow and in the south through next week, it’s still very marginal! Could end up with no snow at all!!!! In fact here on the coast I’m forecast light rain and some sleet! I’m just saying that the cold snap is brief and does come to and end and does seem to wake the Atlantic up
I kind off agree. The snow charts look lovely and it may come to fruition. but in reality it will be nothing like shown Cold it will become, cold enough for anything more than a wintery than sleet for the south is still up in the air. Anyway something interesting to monitor as we enter the last chance saloon

not convinced about snow, but would be nice to see the pond iced over in St James' park like it was in 2010 /11 as i walked past. It sort of told me that it was really cold if central London was cold enough for the lake to freeze over
Having gone from 800 ft living in the Midlands to sea level in London perhaps I maybe misjudging the liklihood of snow in these parts I just have a gut feeling that this year the south may have more luck
