Question for long time model watchers. When the charts consistently showing colder temps out in F1 which then come into the medium term, is it still feasible it can all go belly up??
Yep most have us seen a whole ensemble suite flip on one run. Easterlies re a nightmare to predict. Still there is quite an agreement between models. Best not to take anything as gospel outside 72hours. Just my opinion anyhow

Highly unlikely that day 8 to 10 will verify like that. I for one am happy with the direction of flow we are heading. Fun model watching at the mo

All these pics of rivers swollen. Awful conditions and yet on this very small isle here it’s a glorious sunny day.

Looks like more heavy rain coming here soon.
Yep precipitation always difficult to predict. Very heavy rain moving in from France so somewhere will get a soaking

A lot of money being pumped into disproving climate change, falsifying results, miss reading figures on purpose etc, I get why, but really needs to stop
Actually it’s not that simple. Many scientists do not agree actually how warm the mwp period was. In fact it may have been localised areas of the world that experienced such temps. However many scientists seem to believe that Europe and parts of Asia experienced temps for many many years approx 1.5c to 2c above our current range. Of course it’s still very difficult to be accurate although likely causes could have been solar flares lack of volcanic activity etc

Just found this article, may be take a look, there's an interactive map the shows where reported sightings have happened in the UK.
Interactive map shows Kent UFO sightings including 'white cigar' and 'very large V-shaped craft' - Kent Live
WWW.KENTLIVE.NEWSThere have been 30 reported UFO sighting in Kent or close to the county borderInteresting thanks for that. I also see that a remote village in Brazil have asked for help from the authorities as they are being plagued by 7 feet being which are attacking peoples faces. I kid you not i doubt if they are influenced by the media regarding the spike in alien sightings. strange world

South Ken?
My uncle lives near Chelsea town hall. The backstreets are nice, but the main drag of kings road is very snooty.
Yes, it is a clean area, but boy there are some real posers and arrogant spoilt young people who live there lol.
I grew up in that area, living on a council estate, so I see both sides of the coin.
I live opposite the hansom cab pub just off ken high street nice enough although as you say very snooty in areas. I spend most of my time in Earls Court not quite so posh and actually quite a community vibe Next few years may think of buying a boat to live on maybe in chelsea harbour or move back to Dudley. Then again

Grass is always greener lol...I feel the same tbh. I'll still love London for day trips and evenings out etc, but living/working there. Not forever, at least for me anyway.
When I was in Cornwall last month, I was in a place near Porthcurno called Treen. Tiny village with just a single cafe, a pub, the farm shop where you could buy fresh milk and eggs etc, and then the campsite where I stayed, with a campsite amenities shop. It was honestly amazing to spend some time in somewhere so laid-back, unhurried, and friendly/local. It made me realise that's all I need/want long-term. London just makes you feel like you constantly need to do, be and have more, but thats kind of the point isn't it - its the beating heart of urban Capitalism, at least in our part of the world!
From someone who is from further North As a man approaching 50 you cant beat London. always something going on. and this part of London at least it is very friendly

28c here with bright sunshine. Perfect summers day.
Tomorrow also looks pretty good. Could still get into the mid to high 20's. A few thunderstorms thrown into the mix but also lots of sunny spells forecast.

Much better heights at 168 compared to the gfs 6z run. Not quite the gem but upgrades all round at this point
