  1. Very seroius Incident just being reported in Wolverhampton Centre Just Breaking http://www.expressandstar.com/news/emergency-services/2017/02/23/storm-doris-wolverhampton-city-centre-sealed-off-by-police-outside-mander-centre/
  2. This is the worst destruction i have known around these parts. Wolverhampton Crown Court was evacuated this morning as Storm Doris struck. Panels were falling from the ceiling in the reception area leaving wiring exposed and lights were flickering on and off as gale force winds swept. A tannoy announcement was made at around 10.50am, telling all members of the public and barristers to leave the court. Staff were asked to remain. Security guards told people to head home and that the court would remain shut for the whole day.
  3. Man Injured after sign blows off local Business in Wolverhampton
  4. Yates Pub Roof blown off in Wolverhampton Centre closed . Also as most are experiencing Trees down every where here in Dudley
  5. Pop over to the Scottish thread I think there is a link there
  6. Some serious winds on the aperge again right across the central belt 80 mph more on higher ground
  7. From what I've seen most charts take the storm just north of hull so maybe 50 miles or so further south
  8. Aperge going for very strong winds over the country seems to be more widespread
  9. Just a snap shot but 70-80mph winds quite widely on the Aperge, Then possibly higher as it migrates east
  10. Met office bring the warning zone further south with the amber zone over the whole of the midlands bordering on London, Amber for snow borders and south central Scotland
  11. A Nice chuckle to start the working day Thanks.
  12. Yep the day I was born parents said it was a nightmare
  13. A closer look at the aperge shows how severe this storm could become. No need for a ref vote we will be part of Europe like it or not 90 mph plus 70to 80 over a large area
  14. Quick look at the arpege really turns up the wind speeds. Some area could hit over 90 mph. Let's hope not
  15. The gfs carries on the theme strong winds from the north, north west of England through parts of central north midlands across to the east 60 to 70 mph possible but I expect these charts don't tell the whole story
  16. 60 mph for you Scottish lot may seem like a breeze but here inland that packs a punch more of a concern though as you stated is the effect the Cheshire gap could have on the gusts I expect some areas could face quite a bit of disruption
  17. Yes quite a upgrade for me here was showing 40mph now up to 62mph gusts mmm we shall see
  18. Ecm similar track I think to the aperge strong winds again across the spine of the country
  19. I expect if it takes a track like the aperge winds will be funnelling down through the Cheshire gap perhaps even amplifying it more?
  20. Your right not to out of the ordinary. But the areas it may effect those types of winds are quite rare inland
  21. Oh deary me the sun has broken and the cloud popped out. Plenty of St.
  22. saw that earlier. Possibly a new planet that orbits a seperate sun that could sustain life.? Or Nibiru if you watch You Tube
