Windstorm now showing on gfs and icon 18 z. Close to 80 mph for us in the south east. Could change obviously. But Monday morning could be a nasty commute

Why anyone takes the gfs seriously is beyond me. Not saying icon is right. But gfs is cannon fodder I suppose it’s because it creates interest because it come out four time a day

The gfs is cannon fodder. 4th performing model and yet people still look at it. Rather look at the Hiram. To be honest. For me I’d stick to the ecm and ukmo. You won’t be far off

I agree. That low on the gfs seems too deep for me the ukmo has it shallower. I expect it to travel through northern France. But as ever more runs needed

Great run for extensive snowfall for the midlands. And back end snow for the south. But so far away no point really in looking. Snowfall could be anywhere. Everyone still has a ticket

At day 10? Actually for balance the jma brings snow showers to the south east east of the country. On Sunday Monday all to play for and great model viewing

Jff but heavy snow for the south. In all seriousness if these synoptics occur then snow could fall anywhere
