    Think the general public are starting to latch on to the cold spell judging by the amounts of logs and coal Home Bargain were selling earlier. Glad I stocked up! I do hope we see some decent snow during the next couple of weeks.

    I looked at the radar earlier and noticed that the system seemed to be collecting moisture from the east and curving back inland towards Leeds. The whole thing has joined in the middle now! Incredible stuff.

    With two 10 year old boys just waking up it feels like the Christmas that Santa forgot. They would be so happy with 0.5 cm ... just enough to see! Pleeeeze ?

    Nothing in Wallasey as yet. It’s struggling once it gets to the Dee and breaking up somewhat. Think it’ll be another 30 mins plus before anything falls here.

    Got thoroughly soaked earlier this evening by a combination of rain and hail but the local authority fireworks display was still wonderful. Definitely feels more seasonal this evening.
